  • 2) Expectant Parents match with Home-Study approved prospective Adoptive Parents, either on their own in an independent match or through an agency or attorney.

  • 3) Attorney, Agency, and Hospital coordination to confirm a legal and adoption plan for your match.

  • 4) Parties confirm plans for post adoption contact.

  • 5) Birth and placement of baby with Adoptive Parents.

  • 6) Birth parents sign consents to adoption.

  • 7) Adoptive Parents proceed with interstate compact on placement, if crossing state lines.

  • 8) Court proceeds with termination of parental rights of the birth parents and finalization of adoptive parents rights to the child.
