  • No, I will only represent either the intended parents, or the surrogate or donor, and cannot represent all parties in an arrangement.

  • Yes, in surrogacy and donor agreement matters we charge a flat fee, usually paid by intended parents or the agency, if applicable.

  • Yes, depending on the work and the matter, we accept flat fees in adoption cases.

  • No, I will only represent either the expectant/birth presents or the adoptive parents, or the agency, and cannot represent all parties in an arrangement.

  • No, our offices are based in Philadelphia, and we represent clients across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in their family building matters. Liz is also licensed in the State of New York.

  • For flat fee arrangements, fees are usually owed up front upon confirming representation. For hourly billing cases, a retainer will be paid upon confirming representation and time will be billed on an hourly rate against the retainer, with the client receiving an itemized monthly invoice of the completed services.

  • The retainer, flat fee, or invoiced bills can be paid online by echeck/ACH or with a debit or credit card. Payment to the firm can be made at the link here.

  • No, I only work on matters related to the states were I am licensed, PA and NY. If you need legal support in another state, please search for a qualified attorney in the Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys here.

  • We are happy to provide you with an estimated legal fee depending on your needs. Any legal fees do not include court fees or incidental costs such as notary, travel, or express mailing.  Please reach out to us at office@vaysmanlegal.com for estimated fees for your situation.
